Terms and conditions

As a haulage company we follow the terms and conditions of haulage set out by the rha but also have our own terms and conditions specific to our company running.

Pricing.
All prices given are ex vat.
Prices given unless agreed otherwise give up to 1 hour at the collection point & up to 1 hour on the delivery point within our working hours of 07:00 – 18:30.
There are set rates for the hourly overtime after the 1 hour window is up, to which we can advise upon request.
We also provide a timed delivery service at a premium.
All non-account customers are required to pay for work 2 days in advance.

Cancellation process:
If there is any need to cancel a job that has been paid for and booked in, we give a free cancellation period of which ends after 10:00am the day before the job.
if the job is cancelled after 10:00am then the full payment made to the job will be applicable.

Delivery:
Any job unless stated otherwise is booked as a kirb side delivery.
Within the booking process the more information given the better.
Should we get to a site and the job cannot be completed, through no fault of our own or incorrect information being given, the full cost of the job.

If a road closure is required customers are required to arrange this with their local council before job commencment.

  • All prices given are ex VAT, within our working hours of 07.00 – 18.30 hours and within our working week of Monday – Friday.
  • If timed collections or deliveries are required a premium will be added to our price.
  • If there is a need to cancel a job, we give a free cancellation period of before 10.00 hours the previous working day. If the job is cancelled after 10.00 hours the previous working day the full cost of the job will be applicable.
  • If a job cannot be completed due to poor ground conditions, overhead cables, lack of access & any other unforeseen circumstances there will be an aborted charge. This may also incur return costs. 
  • We allow a free time period of up to one hour for collection and one hour for delivery. Thereafter additional costs will apply.
  • Hourly charges can be supplied upon request.
  • We would always suggest booking any work or items to go into a Container for the day after we make the delivery to leave time in case of any unforeseen issues that may arise on the delivery date.   
  • If you should request our driver and our vehicle to leave the public highway at your own or your company’s request, any damage to pavements, pathways, property or vehicles including ours may incur additional costs. Recovery of our vehicle/s shall be the full responsibility of the customer including all relevant costs.
