Terms and Conditions

As a company:

For road transport we use the RHA model conditions of carriage.

For all lifting and off-road operations, we use the CPA model terms and conditions.

Payment or confirmation of the job will be considered acceptance of our terms, outlined below, and RHA and CPA conditions.


  1. All prices are given ex VAT.
  2. All prices unless otherwise stated allow up to 1 hour for loading and up to 1 hour for unloading during our normal working hours 0700hrs until 1830hrs Monday to Friday.
  3. Demurrage charges will be incurred after 1 hour of collection or delivery.
  4. Prices for over time on site or out of hours work available on request.
  5. Due to the nature of our work timed deliveries will incur additional costs.
  6. All non-account customers are required to pay for work 48 hours in advance.
  7. We give a free cancellation period of before 10am the previous working day. Any cancellations made after this time will be chargeable in full. Cancellation notice; excludes weekends and can only be accepted Monday to Friday within our normal working hours.


  1. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure legal, free and suitable access to and from delivery sites and to ensure good ground conditions for lifting operations.
  2. Disclaimers need to be signed for leaving the public highway and any damage to the vehicle or grounds caused including vehicle recovery are the responsibility of the customer.
  3. If unsure of delivery conditions you can discuss with our office and if necessary, arrange a site visit.
  4. Should the transport be aborted due to site access, restrictions or obstructions, the full transport cost plus 100% return journey remains payable by the customer.
